POKOTABI / BRACERIA MICHELE
BRACERIA MICHELE ブラチェリアミケーレ
BRACERIA MICHELE is an Italian counter bar in Jujo serving charcoal-grilled Kuroge Wagyu, lamb, diverse pasta dishes, wine, and casual small antipasti.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Follow the inviting scent of meats searing over hot coals, and BRACERIA MICHELE in Jujo provides a welcoming destination. Living up to the braceria in its name, the restaurant builds its menu around charcoal cookery, delivering carefully timed cuts like tender Kuroge Wagyu beef and succulent lamb. Options such as local chicken thigh cured with kelp before grilling and roasted pork round out the meat dishes, ensuring hearty satisfaction for those who visit for a proper main course.
While waiting for meats to finish over the grill, a leisurely spread of small plates and drinks fills the time well. Cold appetizers like marinated olives, Spanish cured ham, and fresh fish carpaccio dressed with ponzu gelee make natural partners for an opening glass of sparkling or white wine. Beyond wine, the drinks list extends easily to highballs, sours, and cocktails.
The pasta selection shows genuine variety, featuring squid ink spaghetti with spear squid and myoga, scallop genovese, and gnocchi coated in a rich gorgonzola cream. Meals can finish on a sweet note with daily dolci such as panna cotta.
With around 8 counter seats, the room offers an intimate setting where diners can watch the chef at work, whether stopping by solo for a quiet glass or catching up with a companion over dinner. The restaurant operates from 17:00 in the evening until 23:00 at night. Because seating is limited, booking ahead for dinner is advisable, particularly for parties of 2 or more.
